Bay City - not a place, but where the good times are… at least as far as my mum is concerned and these were designed for her. The pattern is for a pair of fingerless mitts in sport weight yarn with a side seam thumb gusset. A simple cast off stitch gradually fades to stockinette to give all over texture. the textural detail is perfect for showcasing tonal and solid yarns like this one with added sparkle, whilst the fading sections can also be used to match with a set of gradient minis.
