Content Description

This gentleman arrives at the hospital on crutches. His right lower leg is encased in a split short-leg cast. He is wearing a black sneaker sock over his toes, which rest on a toe plate. He appears to have put his foot down on the ground quite often, as the sock beneath the sole is stained with street dirt.

After spending some time on crutches, he sits down in the waiting room. We are able to observe him and his cast for a while. Eventually, he is called into the casting room. What we do not see is that his cast is—unfortunately—removed. It seems his time of struggling with crutches is over.
