The first milestone is to run a free 4-person sunrise landscape photography workshop at Howth Head (Summit area) on 11th October 2025. This pilot workshop will give beginners a hands-on experience shooting seascapes, cliffs, and Bailey Lighthouse in golden-hour light — all within a short walk from the meeting point.
The goal is to test the format, gather feedback, and collect reviews so future workshops can be even better.
Workshop details:
- 🌅 Start time: 6:00 AM (arrive a little early to set up)
- 📍 Meeting point: Summit Car Park, Howth Head
- ⏱️ Duration: 4 hours (sunrise + golden hour + short walk to multiple viewpoints)
- 👥 Group size: 4 participants (small and personal)
- 📸 Level: Suitable for beginners — guidance will be provided
- 🎒 What to bring:
- Camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or even a good phone camera)
- Tripod (essential for low light and long exposures)
- Extra batteries & memory cards
- Wide-angle lens (if you have one)
- Water/snacks
- 👕 Clothing: Dress for Irish coastal weather — warm layers, waterproof jacket, sturdy shoes (paths may be damp or uneven)

- Arrive 10–15 mins early to settle in before shooting
- Be mindful of the environment and stick to safe paths
- Come with an open mind and be ready to experiment

Outcome:
By the end of the session, participants will have a selection of sunrise and coastal images, a better understanding of shooting in changing light, and the chance to provide honest feedback and reviews to shape future workshops.
