"Oggy tried in vain to control the movements of these little beings.

“It must be the energy from the fireflies that brought them to life,” Lach said, trying to explain — but Bran and Oggy were not amused.

“Another one of your experiments, Lach?” Oggy said between gritted teeth, trying not to lose his patience. Everyone knew she did this a lot.

Oggy finally lost it when one of the baby sprouts tangled itself in his fur and burped right in his face.

He swooned, dizzy from the horrible smell leaking out of them.

“Ew!” he cried.

“They all really need a bath.”...
