Bull River Valley, Montana - North View (Personal Use License)

This is taken from a turn out on a road in western Montana called Hwy. 56, but which is known by us locals, (within 100 miles), as the Bull River run. It is a favorite for motorcyclists, except for the high frequency of wildlife crossing the highway. The Long Horn Sheep are the most common, but not the most dangerous. They seem to know to stay off the road, unlike deer, and Moose. The mountains are the Cabinets, and they are one of the ranges where Grizzly bears were re-introduced.

This is an image of the North end of the valley looking North-North East, from the west side, near the top of the valley.
