Read the current Start Here guide and choose one paper format. These use US crochet terms. The charts are stitch maps, not full-size templates. Work a gauge swatch with your chosen yarn and hook, and begin with one sample before making a batch.

Most designs use shaped front and back panels joined with crochet stitches. The Candy Cane is a continuous tube. The Star is a shallow pillow form, not a flat coaster, and the Mini Stocking is a closed decorative ornament, not a usable pocket. Embroidery, weaving in ends and some closures still require a yarn needle.

IMPORTANT EDITION STATUS

Written stitch arithmetic and document consistency have been digitally reviewed. Physical crochet samples, actual finished measurements, yarn consumption, shaping, accessory fit and hanging balance have not been tested. Gauge-based dimensions and yarn quantities are estimates, not measured guarantees. Record adjustments and check each finished item before use or sale.
