Yarn: 70 - 110 yards (64 - 101 m) of Knit Picks Mighty Stitch Bulky, or similar light bulky weight yarn. This yarn is 136 yds (124 m) per 100g ball.
Gauge: 15 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in Unblocked Stockinette worked in the round
Needle size: US 10½ - 6.5 mm (or size needed to achieve specified gauge) and US 9 - 5.5 mm (or size 1 mm smaller than gauge needle)

Each hat takes less than a full skein of the recommended yarn, so you can even add a pom pom to the top if you want!
The recommended yarn is slightly on the lighter end of bulky weight, and some testers were able to achieve the correct gauge by holding two strands of light worsted weight yarn together.
