A series of unfortunate events land our hero Barney in a Kafkaesque criminal justice system. While in jail multiple unsolved murders occur in town. Barney, with his inside-the-jailhouse knowledge of inmates and the local cops, along with the help of his sister Alanna, good friend Tim and his old high school teacher Mr. Garrison, helps put the pieces together of a criminal enterprise that leads directly to the Governor’s mansion.
Adding to the fun is Barney’s alcoholic pro bono attorney Paul and Paul’s legal partner Linda, who becomes smitten with Barney.
