My beloved tongue drum is handmade locally by a musical wizard in Cornwall. It's smaller than the UFO hang drums, because I wanted something small enough to travel with.

The drum body is the reincarnation of an old propane tank, artfully painted in ombre pastel rainbow. The beaters are made of wool from the wizard's pet sheep. The spun wool was tenderly dyed to match my multicolour drum. 

The tongues (keys) were cut by hands + meticulously tuned to the F Minor scale, which gives the drum a softly melancholic sound that tugs at the heartstrings.
