EQ Seasons - Sue In The Garden Row (pdf)

Isn't this an adorable row.. There are 5 blocks to this row, but 2 of them are duplicates, and reversed.

Block one and five is 12x8

Block two and four is 8x8

Block three is 20x8

The pdf file includes everything you need including both reversed and non-reversed patterns. It includes the layouts you need to do the placement and the embroidery.

This row also has SVG files that go along with it. You can cut your freezer paper, fabric, print your placements all with your cutting machine.

I mainly did this row in the raggy applique technique. I've been testing my abilities of late and wanted to try raggy applique. This row is a nice row to do the technique in because it gives the flowers some dimension, the bird some dimension and lifts the row in a way that it wouldn't if it were just turned edge applique.

This row was featured during the 5th week of EQ Seasons Row-A-Long at Seams To Be Sew.

With the exception of Sunbonnet Sue, this row has been entirely designed and drawn by Marian Pena / Seams To Be Sew

Sunbonnet Sue is from the Electric Quilt library of blocks.
