Last Round at the Devil's Bar | Saddle Storms | Whiskey After Dark Album

The sign burned out years ago. Everybody still finds it. Last Round at the Devil's Bar is cinematic outlaw country at its darkest — a bar where nobody shows up by accident. The man with divorce papers flat on the table. The woman by the jukebox who isn't going back. The kid who just turned twenty-one with an envelope in his pocket and a choice to make. A couple forty miles into silence, staring at everything they can't say out loud.

Nobody ends up at the Devil's Bar by accident. Every soul in the place is one drink away from a decision they can't take back — and the bartender's seen it all before. The devil doesn't show up in red tonight. He's behind the bar, pouring shots and asking if you're alright. And the clock on the wall stopped running years ago because time doesn't move here. It just watches where you go. Nobody leaves the same way they came in. A duet built for the dark hours when the clock stops moving and nobody's ready to go home. - Original by Saddle Storms.

[INTRO] The sign outside burned out years ago But everybody finds it just the same [VERSE 1] Neon bleeds red across the parking lot Where the desperate and the damned come to tie the knot Between what they had and what they're about to do Ain't nobody here by accident — including you The man in the corner's got divorce papers flat The woman by the jukebox ain't ever going back And the bartender don't ask what brings you in He just pours it dark and watches it begin [PRE-CHORUS] One more glass One more lie One more reason Not to say goodbye [CHORUS] Last round at the Devil's Bar Where the broken come to find out who they are Every soul in here is runnin' from a name And one last drink from doing something they can't take back again The devil don't come dressed in red tonight He's pouring shots and asking if you're alright Nobody leaves the same way that they came Last round at the Devil's Bar And we're all to blame [VERSE 2] The kid at the bar just turned twenty-one today Got an envelope in his pocket and a choice to make The couple in the booth ain't spoke in forty miles She's staring at her ring and he's staring at the tile Some come in angry, some come in broke Some come in holding secrets they ain't never spoke But the music plays the same for every sin And the door keeps swinging out and swinging in [PRE-CHORUS] One more glass One more night One more reason Not to do what's right [CHORUS] Last round at the Devil's Bar Where the broken come to find out who they are Every soul in here is runnin' from a name And one last drink from doing something they can't take back again The devil don't come dressed in red tonight He's pouring shots and asking if you're alright Nobody leaves the same way that they came Last round at the Devil's Bar And we're all to blame [BRIDGE] You can call it fate You can call it free will But something brought you here tonight And something's here still The clock above the bar Stopped running years ago Time don't move at Devil's Bar It just watches where you go [FINAL CHORUS] Last round at the Devil's Bar Where the broken come to find out who they are Every soul in here is runnin' from a name And one last drink from doing something they can't take back again The devil don't come dressed in red tonight He's pouring shots and asking if you're alright Nobody leaves the same way that they came Last round at the Devil's Bar Last round at the Devil's Bar We're all to blame 🥃 [OUTRO] "Same time tomorrow night?" "Same time every night."
