♫ The Music ♫
A tip of the hat to Tommy Makem for his beautiful tune Ever the Winds.
Cables and lace harmonize to create this lovely arc-shaped shawl knit in a luxurious merino / silk blend.
Whether at home or out on the town, strolling along the beach or out for a day of retail therapy, this arc-shaped shawl will add that special touch to any outfit. The beauty of lace and cable designs is that they will accompany your favourite jeans just as easily as your most elegant evening gown.
The shawl is knit from the bottom up, beginning with a narrow Garter stitch border. The arc-shape is achieved through strategically placed decreases between motifs. The top is finished with an I-cord bind off.
Two full sets of directions are included: one for chart users and one for those who prefer to use written directions. Instructions are also included for making the shawl wider. The pattern is 11 pages.
