Named executor after a parent died?

This is the whole job in one place: a live dashboard that adds everything up for you, a step-by-step checklist in order, and the letters already written.

You stop carrying it all in your head.

You open one file and see what's done, what's next, and what can wait.

WHAT YOU GET

The Executor's System workbook (Excel and Google Sheets)

  • A live dashboard: total assets, open debts, estimated estate balance, money in and out, and what's owed back to you
  • Charts that fill in as you go: what they owned, where it goes, and progress by stage
  • Explore a stage: pick a stage from the dropdown and see every task and its status
  • 34 tabs: four stage roadmaps, What Can Wait, Who to Notify, Deadlines, Death Certificates, Document Locator, Benefits and Claims, Bank and Financial, Real Estate, Vehicles, Digital Accounts, Debts, Bills and Autopays, Estate Income, Estate Expenses, Time and Mileage, Tax Tracker, Distributions, and more
  • Status dropdowns that turn green when done, and totals that add themselves
  • Tap any tab name on the dashboard to jump straight there

An Example workbook, filled in for a made-up family, so you can see a working dashboard before you start.

The Executor's Checklist: a 16-page fillable PDF. The whole process in order, by week. Type on screen or print it.

Letters and Call Scripts: 11 letters and emails and 2 call scripts, already written. Banks, creditors, the three credit bureaus, life insurance, employer, pension, utilities, landlord, digital accounts, medical records, a family update, Social Security, and the funeral home. PDF plus an editable Word file.

Document Locator: a printable walk-through of 40 documents, with a safe deposit box inventory.

Quick Start: how to open everything, in Excel or Google Sheets, in ten minutes.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Download your files.
  2. Open the workbook in Excel, or upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets.
  3. Fill in Quick Facts once.
  4. Start on First Week. Change a status and watch the dashboard move.

WHY I MADE THIS

My aunt Sissy was my mother’s identical twin. It's funny how, looking back, when she was being hard, my mother automatically took on softness. When Aunt Sissy was being soft and easy to please, I felt heard, respected, and taller. When you’re raised by identical twins, your aunt becomes another mother. Long after she passed, my mother asked whether she had left her passwords. She had. I built this so your family has what they need written down, too.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • This is organization and clarity, not legal, tax, or financial advice. Rules for wills, probate, and estates vary by state. For legal steps, talk with an estate attorney or your local probate court.
  • Write where things are kept and the last four digits only. Never full account numbers or passwords.
  • Digital download. Nothing will be shipped. All sales are final: because this is an instant digital download, no refunds are granted. If something isn't working, email onemorefavor@gmail.com and I'll walk you through it.
  • Questions? Message me here. A real person answers, and I'll walk you through it.

The small favor you do for the people you love.
