One cowboy with more cologne than common sense. One woman who didn't know him. One old-fashioned man who was raised that you don't let that slide. What followed involved four guys he hadn't anticipated, Billy from the pool table jumping in on the right side, Karen from the bar top contributing a barstool, and the jukebox taking a hit but keeping right on playing. The bouncer lost. Three bar stools didn't make it. The woman he defended watched the whole thing without spilling a single drop, looked him dead in the eye when it was over and said honey was that necessary. He said yes ma'am it absolutely was.
