They can serve as a useful resource for you, giving you the capacity to deepen your understanding of different cultural phenomena (very important for your writing and speaking assessments); as they are written fully in Spanish, they also provide a good opportunity to hone your skills of reading comprehension, and to engage with subject-specific vocabulary which may be unfamiliar to you though will impress examiners! Topics include: a study of Colombia, the impacts of substance abuse and addiction, and Las Fallas de Valencia. These could also be useful for teachers.
