Poly Five 78
Poly Five 78 (VST3, CLAP, AUv2)
Poly Five 78 is a programmable polyphonic software synthesizer built around a 1978-style dual-oscillator signal path.
Each voice combines Oscillator A and Oscillator B with white noise before passing through a resonant 4-pole low-pass filter and amplifier. Oscillator A provides saw and pulse waves with hard sync, while Oscillator B adds saw, triangle, and pulse waves, fine tuning, a low-frequency range, and optional keyboard tracking.
Poly-Mod routes the filter envelope or Oscillator B into Oscillator A frequency, Oscillator A pulse width, and filter cutoff. A separate LFO offers saw, triangle, and square shapes, while Wheel-Mod blends the LFO with pink noise and routes the result to oscillator frequency, pulse width, or filter cutoff.
The eight-voice engine includes Unison, glide, separate filter and amplifier ADSR envelopes, keyboard filter tracking, a release switch, and an A-440 reference tone. The interactive panel provides 49 host-automatable parameters, a 49-key keyboard, pitch and modulation wheels, voice LEDs, filter-envelope feedback, randomization, and a scrollable browser containing 64 factory presets.
