In “Striving for Strength”, I will layout and explore the successful principles and practices that I have come to understand from over seven years of working in elite professional sport and coaching amateur athletes and recreational lifters alike. I will share my understanding of what strength is and detail how this shapes the principles that I use on a day to day basis when writing and coaching effective strength programmes for elite athletes, gym goers and myself.
My hope is that “Striving for Strength” will equip you with a clearer understanding of what strength is and what it truly means to go about getting stronger. It is my goal to give you the skills to construct countless programmes of your own and to execute and coach them optimally as a result of your new found understanding of effective principles of strength development.
