The fate of the Owner of all Sovereignty was willed, and divine justice came, so the tyrants were defeated and the criminals fell. This occurred on a memorable day in the nation's history: December 8, 2024.

An unforgettable day, a day when the spirit returned to our homelands, and ululations of joy erupted across Syria and in the hearts of the bereaved in the diaspora, as if the earth had finally breathed after a long period of suffocation.

The shock was great for all of humanity when the chapters of the crimes committed by the former regime began to unfold: torture, disappearance, and the violation of dignity...both those that were apparent and those that were hidden.

Only then did the world begin to believe that what we had been telling us was not an exaggeration, but rather a reality more horrific than fiction.

When the truth was revealed, and people learned the extent of the suffering, oppression, and disappearance we had suffered. At that moment, I realized that the world had begun to believe us, and that those who survived these detention centers were destined for a new birth, and that their survival was a miracle requiring lengthy treatment—physically, psychologically, and spiritually.

How tyrannical and brutal that regime was, and how many shattered souls and bodies it left behind, shattered by torture!

Those who emerge from its prisons do not emerge unscathed, but rather laden with deep psychological illnesses that cannot be easily cured...

We need fair, comprehensive, and genuine treatment.
