Writing Journal #2
Fun. Unique. Creative.
Einstein believed in combinatory play. “The act of opening up one’s mental channel by dabbling in another.’
He would play the violin when he was finding difficulty with a mathematical problem. After a few hours - and also by not fretting and thinking, and thinking, and over-thinking the problem – he would find the answer he searched for.
Sometimes you have to do ‘something else’ to loosen up your mind-muscles to find the answer you seek.
These journals are designed to be fun. They are designed to take no longer than five minutes a day. They are designed to be done when you’re sitting in front of the television, or during your coffee / lunch break at work. They are designed to make you accountable to your writing and help you reach your daily writing goals. They are designed to help you push past difficulties and enter into that raw, new, hopefully unexpected, creative universe within yourself.
So, grab your coloured pencils, glitter pens, textas or plain old biros, take five minutes and get the most out of yourself. The effort truly is worth it.
My Writing Journals – your daily dose of creative magic.
