A Celtic Quilt 4
Celebrating the treasure trove of musical talent from Canada’s East Coast – each of the Mystery KAL clue threads in our Ravelry group Impeccable Knitters Gathering Place will highlight a Maritime jewel.
A Celtic Quilt 4 consists of 9 cabled quilt blocks. Once completed, the 9 individual blocks are joined using a 3-needle bind off and the outer edge is finished with a special edging. The only sewing required is a few tiny stitches to join the edging ends.
Both charts and written directions for each chart are included.
Each block begins with a provisional cast on and ends having completed a RS row. Stitches are then picked up along each side of the block as well as from the provisional cast on to work the block border, in the round. Once the final round is complete, stitches are placed on waste yarn so blocks can later be joined using a 3-needle bind off.
Instruction are included for incorporating these blocks into the A Celtic Quilt 1, A Celtic Quilt 2 and A Celtic Quilt 3 patterns.
