This is an amazing tale of the life of a little decimal in grade school. This is a great book for parents to review with their children when trying to learn basic mathematical principals. As a Texas educator, there is overwhelming evidence of the poor basic understanding of the usage and importance of decimals. This lack of comprehension bleeds over into the future courses and causes a great deal of misery and stress for young people and parents alike because they too may not have a great foundation in decimal usage. This book is a great way to have conversations with children about what a decimal point is and how it works relatively speaking. This is a very quick and easy book to use as a refresher and is best for students in grades k-4.
