The Seeker: Dave

Dave; unsatisfied and frustrated with civilization, trying to make head or tails of the world, is searching for a better way to live.

He wanders from one commune to another having adventures and misadventures. He arrives at Elms; a young rural sharing community, trying to cope with the dynamics of sex, living together, and earning their living.

They are in the south and Elms is attacked by riff-raff; the people are cruelly massacred and the place is burned down.

Recuperating from the atrocities, Dave comes to live as a house guest with his friends Martin and Jean in New York. Eventually he finds his way to a Kibbutz in Israel. This is the fifth book in the series; Tomes of Life.
