Blisland Socks
I love these socks, simple yet elegant and fun to knit as the lace panels are small. Worked from the top down, the entire sock is worked in stocking stitch except the two charts down the side of the leg, separated by a purl stitch. The twisted rib cuff flows smoothly into the pattern which is continued to the heel. The lace is then split and the back of the panel flows into the heel flap while the front continues down to the toe, which is decreased and grafted closed.
These are simple socks and suitable for knitters looking to work something more interesting than a plain vanilla sock.
