The rose is a symbol you will find throughout England – on signposts and maps, in books, literature and poetry. Now you can capture a little bit of Englishness with this pretty and functional mug rug.
Based upon the Tudor Rose emblem, marking the royal households of York and Lancaster, this English Rose is created using quick fuse applique. The patchwork log cabin sidebar complements the rose block perfectly, providing a frugal way to use up those left-over scraps from a bigger project. (The English Rose block makes the perfect addition to a sampler quilt or any project that calls for a 6” quilt block (finished size).)
This pattern, like all Patchsmith patterns, comes with full colour diagrams, easy-to-follow instructions and full size templates ensuring your project blooms quickly and easily.
