Summer Midwest Meal Guide
This recipe collection contains 28 lunch/dinner recipes that focus on seasonal produce for the midwest during the summer months (approximately late June to early September). These recipes are perfect for using up the bounty from your local CSA or Farmer's Market!
In regards to nutrition, these recipes focus on fiber, healthy fat and satiating protein sources so you can feel energized and ready for all your summertime activities.
The main cooking techniques used are grilling and simple salad combinations so you can keep the heat out of the kitchen and take advantage of the good weather.
Please note that this list does include some full meals, but also includes some side dish only recipes. If you find a side dish you like and want to make a complete meal, simply throw a protein source on the grill to easily complete it. Every now and then, add a healthy fat source on the side like a few slices of avocado or homemade mayo!
