Copper-Silver
The classic Copper/Silver where a coin held by a spectator changes place with that held by the magician. The touches presented here are invaluable, adding layers of misdirection.
Expansion of Texture
The two coins are placed in a handkerchief, and one is extracted through the cloth. This is then inserted back through the cloth, and the other coin extracted. The spectator examines the handkerchief and there is no way in or out while he holds the handkerchief. Finally, the coin outside vanishes, and is heard to arrive back in the handkerchief with an audible clink.
Kitty’s Treat
An effective coin vanish, as both hands are seen empty. The coin reappears, followed by the magician’s secret assistant, what appears to be a live mouse! As quickly as it appears, it is gone. The mouse can also appear in the middle of a handkerchief, and mysteriously disappears in a most impossible manner.
Coins in the Mist
John’s famous bare-handed vanish and reproduction of two coins. Looks like real magic.
Off Ring
One of the best impromptu tricks ever. A ring is borrowed, put on a straw, and the ends are held by the spectator. The ring is removed right through the center of the straw, and the hands are seen otherwise empty. While the spectator holds the ends of the straw again, the ring is put back to the straw, and everything is handed to the spectator.
Current Classic
Very commercial, practical Sponge Ball routine. A ball visibly appears between the performer’s fingers. The ball vanishes and appears in the spectator’s sleeve. The ball is split in two and one is placed in the spectator’s hand. The other ball is vanished and appears in the spectator’s hand. The Roger Klause vanish and appearance in the sleeve is very deceptive and contains many valuable lessons in natural handling.
Versa- Switch
An invaluable tool for switching out a small packet for another. Four Aces can be shown and slowly turned over onto the deck. The top four cards are buried in the deck, but the Aces remain on top. Also an efficient method for adding two or three cards behind the Aces to switch out for an Ace Assembly routine.
Kings and Aces Change Places
A very clean and visual exchange of four Kings and four Aces, utilizing the Versa Switch.
Yenrac Packet Switch
John’s vacation of Erdnase’s Palm Change, switching one packet of cards for another. Deceptive, efficient, and practical.
