Core Technology
At the center of Infinite Stretch Lab PRO is a continuously evolving granular engine. Any loaded audio file is divided into micro-fragments called grains, each with its own envelope, stereo field, smoothing, and positional behavior. By manipulating the internal playhead speed, grain duration, overlap, and pitch structure, the engine transforms even the shortest sound into extended drones, pads, or abstract textures.
Time-stretching is not achieved through traditional FFT methods; instead, it uses granular resynthesis for a more organic, evolving sonic character. The result is a uniquely smooth and atmospheric output that adapts to both subtle sound-design work and extreme transformations.
Dual-Layer Architecture
Infinite Stretch Lab PRO includes two fully independent granular engines: Layer A and Layer B.
Layer A
The primary engine, offering complete control over stretch amount, grain shaping, and pitch behavior. Ideal for core textures and long sustained material.
Layer B
A secondary, optional engine designed for additional depth and complexity. Layer B can use a different audio file, different timing behavior, and its own granular parameters. Through the A/B Mix control, both layers can be blended to create intricate multilevel drones, harmonic structures, or contrasting motion.
This dual-layer system enables everything from subtle augmentation to fully independent textural worlds operating in parallel.
Advanced Scheduling Modes
Infinite Stretch Lab PRO introduces a new concept in granular engines: algorithmic scheduling. Instead of triggering grains at fixed intervals, the engine can follow four generative timing models:
Linear
Traditional, even grain distribution for smooth continuous drones.
Fibonacci
Intervals derived from the Fibonacci sequence for organic, natural-sounding evolution.
Chaos
Non-repeating timing and position variation using chaos theory. Ideal for experimental and unpredictable textures.
Harmonic
Timing patterns based on the harmonic series, producing resonant, bell-like or overtone-rich behavior.
Each layer can use its own scheduling model, allowing highly complex motion and interplay.

Freeze
Locks the playhead at a fixed position to create stable, static harmonic pads or organ-like tones. Available independently for both layers.
Randomize
Generates musically useful parameter sets for immediate experimentation and inspiration while preserving global settings such as LFO and limiter configurations.
Live Recording
Captures the processed output in real time, including limiter behavior and layer interaction. Ideal for long-form soundscapes and evolving textures.
Export Engine
