Obesity is one of today’s most blatantly obvious, yet most neglected public health concerns. It is due to under-nutriton, lack of education and the increasing number of overweight and obese people. Being overweight isn’t a disease, it is a warming sign for other diseases coming; including heart disease, cancer, alzheimer's, diabetes, hormonal dysfunction and more.
The problem is starting in the home. Home is where cooking and recipes are shared and created. New generations are not being brought up in an environment where home cooking is the norm. What is the number one reason for people not cooking? Not enough time. Bull shit. It’s not time, it’s knowledge. Knowledge is power and once you know how to cook, time doesn’t matter.
In my book, I have written about how I eat. That is; no sugar, low carbs and high fat. Many scientific studies have proven that a low sugar, low carb and high fat diet wins every time. You will also discover that delicious food can be basic and simple and requires no masterchef qualifications.
