Diamond Strippy

Barbara says - This handsome pieced strippy quilt was snapped up on a visit to International Quilt Festival in Houston in 2006. Still fresh and bright in colour and condition it is one of my favourite quilts within my collection. No provenance, no information, a likely date of 1880s could be attributed from the fabrics included.

The original quilt measures about 66 x 80 inches. Full instructions, including the diamond template, are provided for you to machine-piece or hand-piece (as the original was) this bright and cheery quilt. The original quilting pattern is described and illustrated to enable you to complete your recreation of this bed-size quilt.
