Adjustment Layer Includes

Creates a clean adjustment layer instantly. If a layer is selected, the adjustment layer is trimmed to match the selected layer range. The new adjustment layer is automatically selected so you can apply effects straight away.

Null Includes

Creates a clean null controller for selected layers. The tool automatically trims the null, applies transform keyframes, adds Motion Tile, and parents the selected layer to the new null. The null is selected after creation so you can start editing immediately.

Solid Includes

Creates a black solid instantly. If a layer is selected, the solid is trimmed to match the selected layer. If nothing is selected, it creates a full-comp solid. The solid is automatically named and selected.

Rename Includes

Smartly renames layers based on what they are or what effects they contain. Empty adjustment layers become Adj, solids become Solid, nulls become Null, one-frame layers become 1framer, and effect-based layers are named after their effects.

For example: Glow, Curves, Motion Tile, Glow+Curves, and shortened names for layers with multiple effects.

Plugin Requirements

-Kayas' Easy-Layers uses native After Effects scripting and does not require third-party plugins.

-The Rename feature can detect effects already applied to layers, including both stock AE effects and third-party plugin effects, but the tool itself does not require those plugins to run.
