Granny Star Ornaments

We love to crochet these little stars and hang them in the window during the "frosty" months of the year. We're using worsted weight yarn and we've added 1 or 2 strands of DMC embroidery thread to give the stars a marled colour "tint".

You'll need: a small amount of worsted weight yarn and 1- 3 strands of DMC Embroidery Floss (100%

Cotton, 8m/8.7yds), a 4.0mm crochet hook, one locking stitch marker, scissors, and a wool needle (for weaving in ends).

Finished size: approximately 3.5 inches wide.
