High Flow Single Phase Compressor - Construction Guide

Want a larger air supply, but only have single phase power available? Is your budget preventing you from upgrading to expensive single phase screw compressors?

A DIY build may be the answer to your lack of CFM!

This construction guide documents the build of a compressor with a max air delivery of just under 42.7CFM (Going off manufacturer specifications of the components) and FAD of 18.5CFM.

The construction cost of this build was approximately $1888 NZD. (About $1250 USD, £956 GBP or €1060 Euro at the time of writing) - and was constructed using off the shelf parts.

(Note: Though vastly cheaper than installing 3 phase, this setup may require a high amperage outlet to be installed in your workshop. In the case of the Author this amounts to around $250NZD)
