Socks Lacy Leisure (knitting pattern)

"Lacy Leisure” is a knitting instruction for thin but still warm and cosy socks with a playful lace pattern. The boomerang heel is formed using decreases and increases - so, no short rows and double stitches involved :)

Technique: Knitting.The socks are knitted top-down in rounds using 5 needles (DPNs).

Sock size: EU38/39 (foot length - 23.5-24 cm).

Yarn: Superwash sock wool with the following properties - 75% (virgin) wool, 25% polyamide; 50 g/205 m (e.g., Scheepjes Invicta Extra, Schachenmayr Regia 4-fädig 4-ply, Garnstudio DROPS Fabel, Zwerger Garn Opal Hundertwasser 4-ply, ONline Supersocke 100 Living Color, Ice Yarns Super Sock, Lang Yarns Super Soxx Nature 4 ply, Katia Danubio Sock, Lana Grossa Cool Wool 4 Socks by Tanja Steinbach).

Weight of two socks: ca. 50 g.

Needle size: 2.0 mm (US 0).

Other supplies: row counter (optional), stitch markers (optional), tapestry needle and scissors.

Gauge: 2.5 cm = 8 sts; 2.5 cm = 12 rows.
