The three of us were walking alone, my partner, our dog and I, through a quiet and beautiful forest.

Suddenly, Dolç (the dog) who as always went first, suddenly stops, his tail remains paralyzed and both ears so raised that they left no room for doubt. Something caught his attention. I look up and see it, about five meters in front of us. He had his camera hanging around his neck. I shot instinctively, without framing, focusing, controlling exposure, nothing. I didn't want to lose that image in front of me. Hearing the shot he disappeared, he didn't run, jump or run away, he simply faded away, became transparent. We had no doubt, we had seen a goblin in the forest. Stunned I ran and put the photo in the camera viewfinder, there it was, wow.

I really enjoyed both preparing the photograph and writing this micro fable for you. If only I have distracted you for a few moments, it will be a reason for more joy for me.
