Every birth is different. Every mom wants different things. And a super simple birth plan like ours might leave out options someone would’ve actually wanted, simply because they didn’t know those choices existed.

So I made this version.

This is the more complete version of the birth plan template. It still includes all the essentials we used in ours, but it also includes more options, more details, and more things you might want to think about when planning your birth.

Nothing over the top or overwhelming. Just a more thorough version for people who want/need it.

It’s also cleanly organized and easy to follow, with sections like:

• Labor preferences

• Delivery preferences

• Baby care preferences

• Pain management options

• Environment preferences

• And other choices some parents like to include

There's two files. The first one is a formatted PDF with fillable fields and checkboxes, so you can:

• Fill it out digitally on your computer

• Check the boxes directly in the file

• Then print it when you're done

The second file is for printing out and filling out by hand:

• Just print it out first

• Fill everything in by hand

• Check the boxes with pen or pencil

Download it, go through it at your own pace, check what matters to you, and bring it with you when the time comes.
