A guide to discovering your values (and actually doing something with them!)
A guide to discovering your values (and actually doing something with them!)
Have you ever wondered why some things in your life seem like they just work? Almost like the universe has done you a favour.
You can! It's all about knowing what is uniquely important to you when it comes to your business - discovering your values will provide you with a hit list of all of the things you really want, so you can create a business that defines your unique idea of success.
This guide will help you cut through the noise and give you clarity on what you really want from your business.
The hard bit is knowing what you actually want, and not a version of what you think you want which has usually been skewed by things like tradition, culture and what we see other people doing (hello social media 👋🏻).
The full low down on all things values in 10 bitesize sections that are easy to digest, shared in a short course format.
I'll walk you step by step through an exercise which will cut through the noise and help you elicit each of your unique business values.
You'll use a series of prompts and questions to get to the bottom of what they mean to you, and how you can build them into your business.
“Now I feel confident about how to create a business that’s me and that aligns with what I feel is important.
Setting my values out in this way has set my parameters for my idea of success and shown me what I need to focus my attention on, giving me purpose behind all of my thoughts"
— Lucille
Set aside a couple of hours for the whole thing.
The first section is a knowledge drop, diving into what values are and how they come into play in your life and business - this is around 20-30 minutes of reading.
The rest of the time will be spent working through three exercises that will help you define your values and then look at how to integrate them within your business.
You'll have unlimited access to the guide for as long as it's online, though I'd encourage you to crack on as soon as possible - we've all wasted money on courses that we've signed up for and never done. Don't let this be one of them!
Drop me a message on Instagram @theyoga201 and I'll chase you up for accountability if you need it!
The course is intended to be self-led, but feel free to contact me via Instagram (@thehonestyogateacher if you have any questions and I'll support as much as I can.
No! The guide was written with yoga teachers in mind, but is an invaluable resource to anyone looking to gain clarity on what's important to them within their business.
Values are something that apply to all areas of your life, so you could even use the methodology to elicit values for things like your relationship or health!
