Medicine and neuroscience, and a novelist who left the spark out because any mechanism she invented would be wrong.

An English explorer named Robert Walton, pushing north through the Arctic ice in search of a passage, pulls a dying man from a floe and writes down his story. The man is Victor Frankenstein, a Genevan student who went to university at Ingolstadt, learned everything the natural philosophers of his day could teach him, and then spent two years assembling a human body from the dissecting room and the charnel house.

Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley, first published 1818. This packet is the science that comes with it, in Biological Sciences and Social Sciences.
