During this meeting, we will ask a few questions, such as your location, the number of people in your household, and whether you have pets. We’ll also want to discuss the hazards that worry you the most.

In the initial planning meeting, we will review the plan's questions and start crafting a plan tailored to YOUR household's needs. This includes customizing the template and adjusting planning items as necessary. We will also address local hazards and ways to prepare for them. This meeting will last approximately one hour.

After this meeting, we will finalize your plan and ensure it is ready for implementation! We will schedule a follow-up virtual meeting to review everything.

During the final planning meeting, we will examine your completed Household Emergency Operations Plan to confirm its readiness. We will also address any questions or concerns you may have regarding the plan. Lastly, we will discuss when the plan should be updated and create a brief training or drill to ensure all household members are prepared for future emergencies.
