Some weeks later we meet Caroline again after she sprained her right foot playing basket-ball. She hops around at home with a long white sock on the injured foot.

Later she calls her friend Julie to pick her up at home. She puts a green sock over the white sock and finally hops out of the apartment and down all the stairs. In front of the house Julie helps her over to the car, then the car drives off.
