and art of interpretation. The Greek verb hermeneuo
means ‘to interpret or explain.’ The Greek noun
hermenia means ‘interpretation,’ ‘explanation.’ In both
the Greek counterpart and the contemporary technical
term, interpretation has to do with meaning.
Interpretation as a discipline is important because
meaning has to do with the core of a man’s thinking”
