THE RETURN

The eclipse has passed.

And after all the releasing, questioning, unraveling and not knowing, one question remains:

Well?

What now?

You have looked at what no longer fits.

You have questioned who you thought you were.

You may have felt the strange space between the person you have been and the person you are becoming.

And perhaps you expected an answer to arrive.

A new identity.

A direction.

A certainty.

Something that would finally tell you:

This is who you are.

This is where you belong.

This is what you are supposed to do.

But that is not what came.

Because the answer was never another identity.

The answer is you.

Not the version of you constructed from everything that happened.

Not the version created to survive, belong, succeed, please, protect, prove or become.

Before all of that—

you were already there.

The eclipse did not come to create a new you.

It revealed what moves when the old definitions of you can no longer hold.

And underneath them is something extraordinarily simple:

the signal of you.

You know it.

You have always known it.

It is the quiet recognition beneath the noise.

The thing that expands you.

The thing that feels alive.

The thing that feels strangely familiar even when you cannot explain why.

The thing you keep returning to.

That is the filament.

It was never a road you had to find.

It was the thread running through you the entire time.

So what do you do now?

Follow it.

Not because you know where it leads.

Because you recognize what it feels like when you are no longer abandoning yourself.

You do not need the entire map.

You do not need another identity.

You do not need to solve yourself before you begin living.

The question was:

Who am I?

The answer is not something outside of you waiting to be discovered.

It is the one who has been asking.
