Cake decorating started as a hobby for me at the age of 13 baking with my mum at home. I completed my ABC Level 1, 2 and 3 at college after which i started my own business and setup my studio Bows and Butterflies Cake Design. Predominantly focusing on wedding cakes i became preferred supplied to a number of fine venues in the UK. I continued to develop my skills achieving level 1 and 2 in Chocolate work at the esteemed Barry Callebaut Academy. Due to my ever growing family i decided to focus my attention on competition work to showcase my skills and develop in further areas. My entries into various competitions have earned me the following awards:
Salon Culinaire - Best in Show, Best in Class and Gold awards
Cake International - 9 Golds and a two 2nd Place Rosettes
British Sugar Guild - Gold Award
I am also an internal verifier for the ABC award in Sugarcraft.
