Gift Your Elder

Through my previous experience as a care worker and my current role as a volunteer , I've et many elderly people with limited mobility, unable to travel to institutes and benefit from treatments. Some women confided in me that they had never received a massage or treatment. They was really happy and grateful.

That's why I decided to offer free massages for these women, once per month.

CONDITIONS TO APPLY

-The service is for women from 60 years old.

-Health assessment mandatory before the appointment

HOW IT'S WORK?

-I can travel in residential care homes, Hospital or their home (depending of the are, there will be a small fee of £5)

-The appointment last between 30 and 40 minutes

-Depending of the state of health, the massage will be adapted.

-The areas massaged are hands,arms, legs, shoulders, back.

-I'm using my own products. However if the patient has a preferred, suitable oil, we can use it.

-I can refuse to massage if I consider that the patient needs medical advice.

-I can refuse if the patient's health poses a risk to me

-The appointment will be followed by rehabilitation advices.

AND AFTER THAT?

and then what?

I can visit once a month for a free massage.

However, if the patient requires more than one appointment, future treatments are subject to a fee. £15 is the fixed fee+£5 for the travel (depending of the location)

This month, this fee will be donated to the charity Lia Relief Trust
