How to Create a Wood Effect

1. First, I applied a base color, the lightest one (YR1).
2. Once the first layer was dry, I started creating scratches to add texture, using the same color YR1.
3. Then, using the fine tip of the marker, I created the first texture lines and emphasized them with a brown colored pencil.
4. After that, I added some shadows to the table using a colored pencil and a marker.
5. Finally, let’s speed up the process a bit to see the full coloring.
