Is Shadow Work Real? My Personal Experience

Shadow work, for me, is undeniably real. Have I tried it? Yes. Was it difficult? Absolutely, especially when it came to confronting those dark secrets. Shadow work forced me to look deeply into parts of myself I’d rather ignore, and it made me want to run away.

It was a challenging process—when I say difficult, I mean very difficult. But the time I spent on it was worthwhile. Have I finished the whole journey? Not yet. And honestly, I don’t feel pressured to. I’m taking it day by day, month by month, because overwhelming myself could spill over into my relationships and daily life.

So, is shadow work true? Yes, it is for me. For you? That’s something only you can decide.
