Foteini Dimitriou

I was born in Athens and at an early age, I discovered my true love for yoga. I originally studied a 200hr hatha yoga teacher training and then a 100hr Anusara yoga training with Todd Tessen, Sianna Sherman, Naime Jezzeny, Sue Elkind and Douglas Brooks. I attended several seminars at many yoga schools so as to gain more experience. My journey to India gave me a strong push. As for 2014, I teach Violet Yoga Alignment. My love for kids motivated me to study 300hr Diploma-Yogakids International U.S.A. and 320hr Rainbow Family and Community Yoga Teacher Training- Tuscan, Italy. (Yoga for kids, conception, pregnancy, post natal, babies, adults, family, menstruation, therapy, seniors and partners). Since then, I have been teaching yoga to adults and kids, at schools, yoga studios, and holistic centers. Through this practice that is accomplished by heart opening, we express the best part of ourselves by seeking health and abundance. We all try to create a better world that is united with the vision of joy. My first folktale, ‘’The tree that always talked’’ was published in January 2014 and the same year I found Yoga Family Violet Alignment system. In 2015, my first collection of folktales “Yoga and folktales” was published by the Academy of poetry and folktales in Athens, Greece. Foteini Dimitriou, writer - founder of Yoga Family Violet Alignment.
