Yolanda Monique Pinkney-Coleman

Yolanda “Monique” Pinkney-Coleman is originally from South Jamaica Queens (40 projects), New York and has resided in Richmond, Virginia since 2011. Yolanda prefers to be called by her middle name "Monique" which was given to her by her mom. “Monique” is married to Minister Jerome Coleman and is a mother to a “blended” family which consist of 8 adult children and 12 grandchildren.
“Monique” holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Christian Counseling. She is a Doctoral student at South University (Richmond, VA Campus) pursuing a degree in Ministry. She attends Virginia Union University School of Theology. She is an entrepreneur and the Founder of “F.A.I.T.H.” (Families Attaining Integrity Thru Hope) Mentoring Program”; Commonwealth of Virginia Notary Public (Mobile Notary); Hearts Desires Wedding Officiant; and “L.I.F.E.” (Living in Freedom Everyday) Ministries.” Monique is an Ordain Elder. She currently worships and serves at Restoration Assemblies Church under the leadership of Pastor Steven Hawley, Jr. She enjoys serving on the Outreach Ministry Team of her church and is involved in feeding the homeless & the prison ministry. She is also a Motivational Speaker and hosts an Internet talk show called L.I.F.E. (Living in Freedom Everyday) Broadcast which airs weekly. She has over 19 years of experience working in the Human Services/Mental Health field and 4 years of Administrative and Supervisory experience. With all of her life experiences, Monique is committed to mentoring young women struggles with addiction, domestic violence and who transition from the Department of Justice into their communities. Monique is an upcoming Author and in the process of releasing her first book called, “From Broken to Reborn!”
