Giorgio BELLETTI, born at San Salvatore Monferrato (AL) 08/22/43, living in Ozzano Monferrato (AL), Cascina Ameli 15. Degree in law at Pavia University in 1967. English and French spoken and written. From 1968 to 1971, employee at Filatura di Sant'Anna-Comprifil (the textile divison formerly belonging to Costa Cruise Group), for promotion and commercial development of polyester fibre. From may 1971, employee at ENI (Anic Fibre Division) as responsible of promotion and development, maintain the job for about 20 years, following the company’s evolution (Anicfibre, EniChem Fibre, Enimont…). Since 1990, employee at Montefibre, as responsible of Marketing and Innovation Service. Since 2000, is operating as a freelance marketing consultant for fibres and products innovation in the textile pipeline, cooperating, among other, with Elementi Moda, Lenzing AG, Asahi Kasei, Italian Converter and Franzoni Futura. Journalist for the Italian textile magazines Selezione Tessile and Confezione. Visiting professor, on behalf of ASSOFIBRE (the Italian Man Made Fibres Association), at textile and design High School and University. Chairman at the 4° Congress of the Associazione Tessile e Salute in Biella. Teacher in Biella Città Studi for the 2005 Seminars Program. Teacher at ACIMIT workshops. (Italian Textile Machinery Producers Association) Member of AICTC (Italian Dyeing and Finishing Association) Visiting professor at Politecnico di Milano, Design faculty. Collaborates with “Biella the Art of Excellence” for training projects. From 2007 to 2008, consultant for Politecnico di Torino as responsible of communication and external relations for the organisation of AUTEX 2008, World Textile Conference.
