Michael Howard

Michael Howard is a solicitor and legal English lecturer from London. He grew up in Surrey and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. After many years of legal practice he decided to go on an adventure around Europe and the Middle East lecturing law and teaching English. His travels took him to Poland, Germany, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and finally back to the UK where he was invited to teach legal English to foreign lawyers and law students at courses run at Cambridge University. Michael now works in legal publishing and spends his free time writing vocabulary and study packs to help foreign lawyers improve their legal English. In April 2013 he published his first set of books on the English Legal System and in November 2013 he followed this up with Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. The most recent set in his catalogue is entitled Drafting Commercial Contracts. Alongside writing and publishing he spends time with his family and friends in South London and playing the guitar. His vocabulary series and study packs are all available on Amazon on Kindle and in paperback. Interactive versions of the study packs are available at http://www.legalenglishbooks.co.uk
