Truthful History

Looking at many public school and "traditional" history course work in the United States... one must examine a “peculiar” blindness to truths of the beginnings and present day realities for what is now called America. And most unfortunately, many who are taught and ascribe to the “Make America Great Again” culture are not fully aware what they are wishing for is centered in a foundation of profit over people achieved through institutional racism and exclusion.

From the Mayflower Compact of 1620; to the Boston Tea Party Patriots dressing like Native Americans to blame them for the dumping of British tea in the harbor; to the full installation of systemic white-supremacy... our beloved homeland has consistently put profit over people.

As Baba Dick Gregory describes in his classic of 1972: “No More Lies” the priorities for the forming of the United States of America begin as follows:

  • First and primarily for commercialization in seeking dividends;
  • Secondarily to colonize the indigenous and send over settlers;
  • Thirdly to install a patriotic and religious condition.

And there is indeed a pattern of evidence that easily demonstrates how these three priorities were accomplished in what is today the United States of America. Such that the real question is... as humanity prescribes... are these the principles of governance that the citizens of the U.S. want to continue to stand for?

To be clear, marginalized people don't hate white people... they hate systemic white-supremacy as a model for governance and business. In most part, personal preferences and prejudices by any group of people are insignificant to another person's livelihood. Instead, it is the inhumane and illegal support of white-supremacy that fails the communities it impacts. Marginalized peoples must hold those with privileged access and those who support white-supremacy accountable.

And so, there is indeed evidence to the practice of shielding a certain demographic from the truth. There are no guarantees to "comfort-ability" in what is honest and true. For instance, rarely will anyone read a classroom lesson that presents the United States as the “only country in history” to drop not one... but two atomic bombs purposely on humankind. But this writing is Not to suggest the United States of America is an awful nation. Rather, to suggest to her citizens they must critically consider what drives the actions of governance of the country based on her historical facts.

Both Human and Civil Rights are granted at birth. Human Rights demand respect be recognized from human to human. Whereas every government has a responsibility to the civil rights of its citizens. And only through that civil responsibility can there be a humane society. And this is why Grassroots Politics is so important.

Good policy may very well look fine on paper. But a culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion must be in place to properly implement the rights of everyone. Civil rights include agency to self determination; not of which can be completely agreed upon by all in a community entirely. This is why democratic representation is necessary at all levels of government.

To ignore, hide or attempt to change the evidence that something happened is hardly truth or history. How some groups of people can want to justify their closed minded fragility is irrational. No matter how hard they try, the beginnings of a declaration for a nation called the United States of America has always been primarily focused on brutality for commercial profit; by practicing models for white-supremacy to protect that culture. And today white-supremacy is so systemic, it is ingrained in what is now called "Western Culture."

And unfortunately, in present day, militarized Unified Law Enforcement is being used consistently to prevent anything other than white-supremacy in communities desiring and deserving a humane model for life, liberty and self-determination. Black Power and Black Lives Matter movements are no longer limited to Afro-American communities. Rather, BLM is resistance against oppression for anyone and everyone.

The Truthful History is... people of all skin tones and phenotype lived and thrived on the soil of Turtle Island before Euro-Asian colonization. Within early white-settler journals are mentions of the Scandinavian fur traders, and the “dusky” Moors who lived in peace with the indigenous. Truth be told... “pilgrim stories” misrepresent much about those already living on Turtle Island before colonization... and how those white-settler-colonist survived. As early as 1617, England was sending convicted criminals to their newly stolen territories to colonize the land. Theft, murder and exploitation assisted many a pilgrim survival effort.

Even today, land is taken by imminent domain; and over-taxation is forced upon those who don't take advantage of loop-holes or engage in illegal activities. The amount of money, resources, and lives stolen through legislative practices of the United States government is what belongs in Truthful History. With funds focused on wars and space exploration grifts; every U.S. citizen today could have clean air, housing, food sovereignty, health and wellness. But the focus has never been on the citizen or humanity. The United States of America was founded on colonization for profit... when has it ever been great?

We The People are not blind, nor will be blinded, to false narratives and ignorance that suggest any politics can ever make something great that has a history of theft, genocide, racism and white-supremacy.

We The People support Truth over politics; Justice over corruption, and Repair over inhumanity.

We The People demand Truthful History in our schools and all traditional forms of education... to support a healthy-healing humane and civil society.
